Alderbrook

Bulky weight yarn + US 11 needles + lots of "passenger in the car" knitting = Alderbrook.

Alderbrook
Designed by: Cecily Glowik MacDonald
Yarn: Quince and Co. Puffin
Color: Pomegranate
Needle: US 11

Details:
This sweater was a really fast knit. Maybe it was because I was in the car as a passenger a lot between Christmas and New Years, so I had many hours to knit, but this sweater worked up super quick. It is knit from the top down with raglan sleeves and waist shaping. The collar can be buttoned up or worn open. There is a fun pattern detail on the front. I used Quince and Co. Puffin in the color pomegranate. This yarn is a slightly felted bulky weight yarn that gives beautiful pattern definition.

Very cute, Mary! I need to get my hands on some of that Quince and Co once and for all! (Though it may go against my resolution to GET RID of some of my yarn... ay.)

What a great sweater. It's always satisfying when it's a fast knit. I keep hearing about this yarn everywhere I go. It' look wonderful.

Really lovely sweater! I too have run into Quince and Co. a lot lately, which clearly means the universe would like me to purchase some. Right?

Love the sweater! I keep reading about that Quince and Co yarn but haven't had a chance to use it. Looks beautiful all knitted up.
