Ruffle My Feathers

I could start this post out by telling you why I haven't been around here for so long, but the story is really very boring and so long that even I have trouble following it. Suffice it to say that I've been very busy.

I have recently found my knitting needles and yarn stash, and I can tell you it feels really good to be knitting again. I have a renewed passion for all things wool now that the hottest summer on record is coming to an end.

Pattern: Ruffle My Feathers
Designed by: Caryl Pierre
Yarn: Lang Jawoll
Color: Blue, brown, gray
Needle: US 6 Circular

Oh yeah... my old photographer (the one that I fired) up and went off to college... just like that.

Mary, this is GORGEOUS! It looks like a jellyfish or an octopus when it's unfurled! You will have to show me your secrets.

Love,
H

This looks gorgeous, and so glad to hear you're back to knitting, and hopefully posting more ;)
I'm all for the wool projects now too since our summer heat seems to finally be over.

It's beautiful and looks perfect with your jean jacket! Sorry to hear your photographer has gone off to college.... even though he was fired it must still make you sad to see him go - LOL

Very pretty! I love the colors you chose. I've lost photographers before, it sucks! Especially when you just get them trained to photograph knitwear. :-)

Love the colors - jeans are my staple too so it's nice to have a knit to compliment so beautifully. Glad that you're back - i took a bit of a break myself and am so glad to be making again. Hope your new house is treating you well. Sorry about your photographer - hope he's loving college.
