Meet Jaywalker.
Pattern: Jaywalker
Designer: Grumperina
Yarn: Schachenmayr Kaffe Fassett 4 ply mirage fire
Result: What a great pattern. She really knows how to design. The pattern was very easy to follow. There were no fussy stitches. I used a You Tube tutorial for the kitchener stitch. The final product looks and feels great! I'm converted. Now I want all my socks to be handknit wonders. Grumperina gets five stars.

thank you everyone for all the great comments. i really appreciate it. the hooked wool rug on my header was bought at a local antique shop. i just love it and thought it would make a great header. it is not signed anywhere so i don't know who made it.

Jaywalker's AND Kitchener stitch? Good going! Very nice socks. :-)
Awesome socks! I hear socks are addicting to knit...
I LOVE jaywalkers! They are easy enough to memorize, and a great way to use striping or variegated yarn!

I do love your Jaywalkers (yeah, theyre on my to-do list), and am very interested to see that Kaffe Fasset yarn has knitted up so nicely. there is some marinating in my stash, and now I think it might be just about ready for airing.
Hi, Not a regular Knitter but a regular admirer! Sadly the header photo is not coming up for me today...the "blog fairies" are making things difficult. Hang in there and welcome to blogland!
